Teenagers. Teenagers who haven’t actually seen half of the movies he talks about and therefore can’t immediately tell when he’s misrepresenting a movie. Teenagers who are more interested in a good laugh than insightful film commentary. Teenagers who can get that laugh from the sight of a grown man in a crude tie swearing really loudly.
I don’t blame those teenagers. I still enjoy watching some youtubers make stupid jokes about a piece of media at the expense of doing it any sort of justice. But there are better places to get that fix.
